•Michael is at least conversationally fluent in English, Hebrew, French, German, and Russian.

•Michael’s first play was in 5th grade, where he played the role of Fagin in his school’s production of “Oliver!”

•Michael only completed his first song, “A Perfect World,” when he was 17 years old.

•Before seriously entering the theatre world, Michael founded a small film company, Cheapfilms Productions, and at age 13 won first place alongside friend/colleague Danny Fenster in the Judah L. Magnes Film Competition for an animated documentary about the Israelite Tabernacle, titled “Saviors of the Lost Ark.”

•Michael considers himself to have failed if after five minutes of meeting someone, that person does not know the name of Jonathan Larson.

•Michael favorite quote of all time is “No Day But Today,” from the song “Another Day” written by (surprise!) Jonathan Larson.
