I performed Tommy in 2002 (a busy year for me!). Having just completed my first performance of Rent as Mark Cohen, the role of Uncle Ernie served to further my desire to involve myself in musical theater combined with comtenmporary music. The role was not my typical type casting -- generally speaking, I like to think that my portrayal as an incestuous child-molestor is not IN ANY WAY autobiographical! Even so, this was a great opportunity for me, and marked my first official appearance at French Woods Festival for the Performing Arts. Most of all, this production granted me the opportunity to meet one of my favorite actresses, Maya Rosanblum, an Israeli tripple-threat who remains my dear friend to this day.
